FALL FOOT RACES

New to the scene this year, CORK and Run Bend are partnering to put on a spectacular autumn event! The Fall Foot Races combine fresh new events (Fall Foot Half and Fleet Foot 5k) with two of the oldest and most beloved races in Oregon (Bigfoot 10k and Little Foot kids run). Together, these races provide a distance option for all runners/walkers, and the perfect beginning of a fall day in Central Oregon. We hope you can join us!

All races will be held Sunday, October 6th, 2024

Fall Foot Half- 8:00 am

Bigfoot 10K- 9:00 am

Fleet Foot 5K- 9:30 am

Little Foot Kid’s Run - 10:30 am

2024 T-Shirts

Note: Registration between events will be hosted on two different platforms this year (Runsignup for Half and 5k, Ultrasignup for 10k) as we work towards an integrated registration platform in the future. The impact of these two different platforms means that registrations for a 10k and a 5k or a Half and a 10k will need to be separate transactions. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

T-shirts are available to add to your registration for $35. They are an awesome tech tee that you’ll want to wear on every run!

Fall Foot Half

New to the racing scene this year, the Fall Foot Half won't disappoint! This race is fast, scenic, and is a great run (or walk) for experienced or first time half marathoners.

The Half Marathon course will start at the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center and wind downhill on the paved bike path and connect to the Deschutes River Trail, cruise through the Old Mill, and loop around to First Street Rapids on the newly constructed pedestrian path, finishing off at Riverbend Park. With about 500 ft of elevation loss in the first half, and flat, scenic paths for the second, this course will be a new Bend favorite.

Paired with the oldest footrace, the Bigfoot 10k, this new half distance will provide the perfect race complement and makings of an incredible fall weekend in Central Oregon.

Bigfoot 10k

9:00am Cascade Lakes Welcome Station (Century Drive)

Bigfoot 10K

A runners fall right of passage, the Bigfoot race has been a staple on runners calendars since 1976, making it Bend’s oldest foot race. A fast “downhill” course from the outskirts of Bend down Century Drive into the heart of the Old Mill, Bigfoot has aided many a runner to a quick 10k PR.

The course in its third year will start at the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center and wind downhill on the bike path and connect to the Deschutes River Trail finishing at Riverbend Park. This half pavement half smooth wide trail is a fun, fast and scenic course with nearly 500 ft of elevation loss

As Bend’s oldest foot race be sure to put this on your race calendar.

Please Note: The Bigfoot 10k race is a fundraiser for the Bend-La Pine School Cross Country teams. All proceeds of the 10k race go straight to the cross country teams for travel, equipment, and other needs. To date the Bend Bigfoot 10k has donated over $50,000 to local programs.

Fleet Foot 5k

9:30am Riverbend Park

Fleet Foot 5k

New to the racing scene this year the Fleet Foot 5k race won't disappoint! This race is fast, scenic, and a great entry run for first time racers at the 5k distances. Starting and finishing at Riverbend Park, this event is runner/walker friendly and is a fun option for walkers or families looking to take on a challenge together.

The course is centered around the Old Mill, with river, mountain, and historic mill site views that will help the miles fly by.

Paired with the oldest footrace, the Bigfoot 10k, this new 5K race provides the perfect race complement and makings of an incredible fall weekend in Central Oregon.
